High current generator is essential technical equipment for places requiring high current in electrical debugging across various industries and enterprises. It is applied in traditional power plants, substations, electrical product manufacturing plants, and research and laboratory units. It belongs to short-time or intermittent duty systems and has characteristics such as small size, light weight, good performance, and convenient use, management, maintenance, and repair. It has a movable structure, composed of an instrument indicator panel and an operation panel. The instrument indicator panel is divided into two ammeters of large and small ranges and a switch for selecting large or small range (toggle switch). The green indicator light refers to the power supply signal, and the red indicator light refers to the working time signal. The operation panel is composed of a start button (green), a stop button (red), and related work information systems. This current booster is a dry-type high current generator produced by our company, equipped with an auto-transformer voltage regulator to output voltage (i.e., the input module voltage of the generator) to obtain the different high currents needed.
When conducting high current tests, connect the working circuit correctly according to the circuit diagram of this product. The output current size depends on the position of the large and small range selection switch. First, return the voltage regulator to zero, then press the start test button (green). At this time, hold the adjustment handle and slowly rotate the handwheel of the regulator clockwise while staring at the ammeter until the desired current value is reached. At this point, after the test predetermined value is reached, immediately rotate the handwheel counterclockwise back to zero, then press the stop button to cut off the power. During operation, the device should rotate the handwheel evenly and slowly to avoid damage to the regulator. The full-load operation time should not exceed 2.5 minutes, the working time should be less than 2.5 minutes, but the duty cycle should be greater than 10 minutes.
