On March 10, this is the first time Anhui Power Grid has used this advanced technology, achieving a "zero" breakthrough in live voltage withstand tests, which is of great significance for further improving power supply reliability. In the past, when conducting tests and maintenance on important electrical equipment such as newly commissioned GIS, it was necessary to completely cut off power to adjacent busbar equipment. However, since many substations are responsible for supplying power to important users or are located at power supply nodes, coordinating power load transfer and outage scheduling was extremely difficult. This time, Hefei Power Supply Company introduced this new technology for the first time in the province, achieving synchronous frequency and phase adjustment between the test voltage and system voltage. Under such conditions, operating power equipment does not need to be de-energized, and with minimal impact on power users, new equipment can pass acceptance and be put into grid operation in the shortest time, meeting the region's new load demand. As this is the first time the new technology test has been conducted in Anhui Province, power supply companies from multiple cities conducted on-site observation and learning exchanges. The technology will be gradually promoted and applied in power grids across the province in the future. In recent years, Hefei Power Supply Company has actively innovated production methods, implemented a new factory-based "major overhaul" model, introduced advanced domestic technology, and comprehensively improved work efficiency. The average power outage time for users has decreased by as much as 51.7% compared to 2014. The company will focus on carrying out "reducing trip-outs" work, further improving power supply reliability, and providing strong power support for the economic development of the Hefei region.
