Overview
According to IEC and relevant regulations, semi-finished and finished products in the transformer production process, as well as newly installed and repaired transformers, must undergo turns ratio testing before being put into operation. In the "Regulations for Handover and Preventive Tests of Power Equipment", it is also required to regularly measure the turns ratio of operating transformers. The turns ratio test of transformers can check the condition of transformer windings and tap changers, and determine whether there are defects such as coil short circuits, connection errors, and inter-turn short circuits, thereby ensuring the safe use of equipment.
