Surface Impedance Tester - Yangzhou Darui
Darui Electric recommends for you
The ACL-385 uses the ASTM standard D-257 parallel electrode sensing method, allowing simple and repeatable measurements of various conductive, static dissipative, and insulating surfaces.
To measure surface impedance, place the meter on the surface to be tested, press and hold the red TEST button, and the continuously lit light-emitting diode (LED) indicates the magnitude of the surface impedance.
10^3 = 1 kilohm Green LED
10^4 = 10 kilohms Green LED
10^5 = 100 kilohms Green LED
10^6 = 1 megohm Yellow LED
10^7 = 10 megohms Yellow LED
10^8 = 100 megohms Yellow LED
10^9 = 1000 megohms Yellow LED
10^10 = 10000 megohms Yellow LED
10^11 = 100000 megohms Yellow LED
10^12 = 1000000 megohms Red LED
>10^12 = Insulating Red LED
Measuring Resistance to Ground
Insert the ground wire into the Ground socket, which insulates the right sensing electrode of the meter (on the same side as the socket). Attach the alligator clip to your ground wire.
Place the meter on the surface to be tested, press and hold the TEST button, and the continuously lit LED indicates the magnitude of the resistance to ground. The unit of this measurement is ohms.
