The frequency selection characteristic is sharp, with a passband of ±0.3Hz. The error caused by a measured 200V interference at ±1Hz offset frequency measurement is less than 0.1mV, and the interference suppression capability reaches more than 1/10000, far exceeding the anti-interference capability of some imported instruments at a few percent, ensuring test accuracy. The system also has an additional 50Hz notch filter designed to completely filter out 50Hz power frequency interference.

It completely solves the problems of similar equipment having small output power and voltage, making it difficult to generate current on site. Most current ground grid measurement equipment has relatively small power, such as common equipment with output of 100V/5A (500W) or 150V/10A (1500W). Due to the small output power and voltage, it is often difficult to generate sufficient current on site, and in practice, the test current (such as 5A) as stated on the equipment nameplate cannot be achieved. In many cases, the measured signal becomes very small and difficult to measure accurately. The high-power (5-20KW) signal source of this system can ensure sufficient loop current, improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and accurately measure small quantities such as contact voltage and step voltage.

This system uses a 40-70Hz step 1Hz multi-point frequency conversion test, overcoming the limitations of the dual-point frequency conversion method, thus obtaining the frequency characteristics of the grounding system. It can clearly discover and eliminate bad measurement values caused by same-frequency harmonic interference, making the measurement results more consistent with actual values. Some instruments, limited by technology, use low-precision simple LC filter circuits plus simple software processing, selecting dual-point frequency conversion far from the power frequency (such as 40/60Hz). Their anti-interference effect, measurement accuracy, and data repeatability need to be verified, and they may be affected by specific frequency interference signals. Dual-point frequency conversion measurement is not an ideal method for anti-interference measurement of ground grids.
