The Bioseb Tail Suspension Test Apparatus automatically monitors the experiment, using force sensor technology rather than video tracking, to accurately detect parameters including animal activity state (active/inactive), energy, etc. The system can test up to 6 mice simultaneously.
The software allows setting all parameters (number of animals, threshold, test start, test termination, etc.). During the test, bar charts display energy values and real-time calculation of results, including immobility time, energy values, force values during movement, etc. Completed tests can be replayed at any time, and different parameters can be measured during the test. Data for individual animals can be deleted (e.g., when an animal falls during the test), and in such cases, the traceability of the test is preserved.
