III. Remote-controlled Insulating Boots (Gloves) Withstand Voltage Testing Machine - Usage Method:
1. After unpacking, secure the test device and connect the grounding wire properly.
2. Before testing, fill the test object with steel balls, then adjust the electrode rod via the locking screw so that the electrode inserts into the insulating boots (gloves) and adjust the screw to contact the steel ball surface.
3. On the remote control, button "1" is the stop key, "2" is the start key, "3" is the voltage increase key, "4" is the voltage decrease key, "5" is the timing key, and "6" is the spare key.
4. Connect the power supply, press the air switch, the power indicator lights up, press key "2", the working indicator lights up. If it does not light up, it means the voltage regulator is not at zero; press key "4" to decrease voltage, then press key "2", then press key "3" to increase voltage. When the desired voltage is reached, press key "5" to start timing. When the time is up, the buzzer sounds, press key "4" to return the voltage regulator to zero, and press key "1" to end the test.
5. The first meter from the left is the high voltage meter (KV), and the following 6 meters are smart current meters (mA). The corresponding indicator lights above the 6 meters (mA) are overcurrent indicators, one-to-one corresponding.
