- Supports RF analysis, demodulation analysis, and drive test modes for CDMA signals
- Air interface measurements for CDMA IS-95 and CDMA2000 1x signals via built-in GPS receiver mode
- RF test mode provides measurements of channel power, occupied bandwidth, carrier power, frequency error, and noise floor level based on CDMA signal standards
- Demodulation test mode provides multiple code domain analysis capabilities, pilot signal power measurement, channel power measurement, frequency deviation measurement, waveform quality measurement, pilot time tolerance measurement, pilot energy-to-interference ratio measurement, and carrier feedthrough measurement.
GSM RF measurement mode
- Built-in GSM signal analysis mode for analysis of GSM RF parameters, including channel power, time slot power, occupied bandwidth, carrier frequency, frequency error, and training sequence code (TSC)
- Supports GSM 8 time slot signal analysis mode
Channel power scanning mode
- MT8212B provides precise scanning measurement modes for mobile communication signal power, using different scanning methods to display information on multiple signal frequencies and powers
- Provides multiple amplitude display modes, including graphical display or text format display
Interference analysis scanning mode
- MT8212B has built-in interference finding and analysis modes; by adding option 25, interference signal finding, locating, and analysis can be completed
- Using the built-in speaker or headset of the MT8212B, the strength of the interference signal prompt sound can be used to easily track the interference source; the intensity of the interference signal can be intuitively represented by the volume of the sound
