SMN Series Contact Pressure Detector is a special instrument developed by our company for detecting the clamping force of moving contacts in low-voltage switchgear drawers.

Currently, 380VAC power supply systems commonly use drawer-type switchgear. Due to deformation of moving contacts during drawer withdrawal and insertion, damage to clamping springs, reduction of moving contact clamping force, poor contact or reduced contact area between moving and static contacts, the resistance at the contact points increases, causing heating, which further develops into two-phase or three-phase short circuits, switchgear burning, resulting in property loss, power supply interruption, and equipment shutdown. The SMN series detector provides a convenient and accurate method for detecting contact clamping force, which can significantly reduce short-circuit faults in low-voltage drawer cabinets caused by factors such as contact deformation. This product is widely used in operating sites in petroleum, nuclear power, electric power, and other departments. It is a reliable detection and diagnostic tool for enterprises to inspect the contact clamping force of low-voltage switchgear, allowing convenient and quick monitoring of contact clamping force parameters, helping to analyze the causes of heating or burning of connectors, ensuring long-term stable and reliable switch performance, and avoiding accidents.

The SMN series low-voltage switchgear contact clamping force detector consists of a digital display and a handle-type clamping force sensor. The standard product has a measurement range of 0-200N. It has automatic and manual measurement modes, as well as upper and lower limit alarm functions for clamping force. For low-voltage cabinets from different manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, Tianshui Great Wall, etc., various types of handle sensors and guide heads can be configured.
