Precautions When Using Ground Resistance Tester - Yangzhou Darui
Darui Electric recommends for you
The ground resistance tester is specially designed and manufactured for on-site measurement of ground resistance. It adopts digital and microprocessor technology, measures ground resistance with 3-wire or 2-wire method, and has unique line resistance calibration function, anti-interference ability and environmental adaptability, ensuring high precision, high stability and reliability for long-term measurement. It is widely used in ground resistance measurement of electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil fields, construction, lightning protection and industrial electrical equipment. The instrument consists of a host, monitoring software, test lines, communication lines, etc. The host has a large LCD display, blue backlight, bar graph indication, clear at a glance. At the same time, it can store 400 sets of data, realize historical query and online real-time monitoring functions through monitoring software, dynamic display, with large, small, average value indication, alarm value setting and alarm indication functions, with historical data reading, viewing, saving, reporting, printing and other functions.
Ground resistance tester is a common instrument for inspecting and measuring ground resistance, and it is also an indispensable tool for electrical safety inspection and acceptance of grounding projects. In recent years, due to the rapid development of computer technology, ground resistance testers have also incorporated a large amount of microprocessor technology. Its measurement functions, content and accuracy are incomparable to general instruments. At present, advanced ground resistance testers can meet all grounding measurement requirements. Using the new clamp method, online direct measurement can be carried out without driving stakes and laying wires. A powerful ground resistance tester is controlled by a microprocessor, which can automatically detect the connection status of each interface and the interference voltage and interference frequency of the ground grid, and has unique functions such as value holding and intelligent prompts.
Clamp ground resistance meter is a major breakthrough in traditional ground resistance measurement technology, widely used in ground resistance measurement of electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil fields, construction and industrial electrical equipment. When measuring a grounding system with a loop, the clamp ground resistance meter does not need to disconnect the grounding down conductor or auxiliary electrodes. It is safe, fast and easy to use. The clamp ground resistance meter can measure ground faults that cannot be measured by traditional methods, and can be applied in occasions where traditional methods cannot be used, because the clamp ground resistance meter measures the comprehensive value of the ground body resistance and the grounding lead resistance. The clamp ground resistance meter has long jaw and round jaw types. The long jaw is particularly suitable for occasions with flat steel grounding.
Precautions:
1. The grounding line of the ground resistance tester should be disconnected from the protected equipment to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
2. There should be no stray current and polarized soil near the measured ground electrode of the ground resistance tester.
3. Measurement cannot be carried out after rain and when the soil absorbs too much moisture, as well as when climate, temperature, pressure and other conditions change sharply.
4. The detection needles should be far away from larger metal bodies such as underground water pipes, cables, railways, etc. The current electrode should be more than 10m away, and the voltage electrode should be more than 50m away. If the above metal bodies are not connected to the grounding grid, the distance can be shortened by 1/2 to 1/3.
5. The connecting wires should use wires with good insulation to avoid leakage.
6. Pay attention to the position where the current electrode is inserted into the soil, so that the grounding rod is in a zero potential state.
7. The test should be carried out when the soil resistivity is high, such as in early winter or dry season in summer.
8. There should be no electrolytic substances at the test site to avoid misjudgment.
9. When the sensitivity of the galvanometer is too high, the potential probe voltage electrode can be inserted shallower into the soil. When the sensitivity of the galvanometer is insufficient, water can be injected along the probe to moisten it.
10. Check the accuracy of the instrument at any time.
